Dorcas serves children and teens aged 4 to 18, Monday through Saturday, offering activities that encourage learning, social interaction, and the strengthening of family and community bonds. The program is aimed especially at children and teens in situations of social vulnerability, seeking to transform challenges into opportunities for growth.
Recorder and Early Music Group. Currently 6 teens, volunteer teachers and guest musicians participate.
Support for literacy and reading, with school guidance offered in a playful and creative way.
Since 2017 Dorcas has been maintaining the Music in the Neighborhood Project through the Cultural Incentive Law, in addition to other artistic activities.
Robotics, basic programming and computer science content, providing digital inclusion.
We promote and encourage physical health through educational circuits, soccer, athletics, and capoeira.
Essential courses for first employment, such as finance, marketing, entrepreneurship and more.
We address topics such as civil and political rights, environmental care and others.
Promoting spiritual guidance for children, teens, their families and collaborators.
Christian social project that, through scouting, stimulates physical, social, intellectual and character development.
Donations, mainly clothing, sold in our Brechó Dorcas Thrift Store help maintain the four daily meals we provide.
With rhythm and acrobatics, it promotes physical conditioning and motor coordination.
Movement for the body, mind, and spirit stimulates creativity and strengthens self-esteem.
