The space was rented and prepared for Comunidade de Jesus.
Marlon Passos began worship services, Sunday school, and violin lessons.

As Dorcas grew, it gained legal structure as Associação Evangélica Cristo Redentor.
The brand was created based on the pillars: Service, Transformation, and Dignity.
In 2011 and 2012, we received the first contributions: one for music and another for soccer.
Children, teenagers, families, volunteers, and partners build this story every day.
Serving almost 300 children, Dorcas began raising funds through the Cultural Incentive Law and expanded its team.
On March 17, 2025, we signed the contract to purchase the land.
